It was a new school year with new chances. The school had started yesterday and there were quite many students that sat outside since it was 15 minutes until school begun. However, a new student was about to enter the school today....
Marii stepped out of the school bus; she had sat next to a guy that munched on a big bagel all the way. Not exactly the best start on the day to put it like that. A lot of chattering girls and boys went out of the bus and the girl was in the middle of the big crowd. She tried to blend in, but failed miserably; the female was the only one with green hair in a distance of a kilometer...if not more. Nobody stared at her so far, at least none of the people that were in her vision range. But then the senior noticed something; the school uniforms!
'I thought that girls could choose between trousers and skirts! Kami, I look like an idiot!!!' thought the female and felt a tad bit uncomfortable. "Hey, look at the cute guy over there!" said a freshman that sat behind her on a bench. The greenette turned around and then looked at the cute girl with purple hair. "Iiiih, he is looking at me!" said the girl before her cheeks turned bright pink. 'There are no cute guys here...at least not anyone I think it is cute. Which means....UH OH...' thought the immigrant and felt her face turn red. She straightened her shirt a little so her chest became a little more visible.
'First class is in 15 minutes....I hope someone can help me to class. Where are the seniors!?' thought the female, who was a tad bit frustrated by now. She looked around and tried to spot a person who looked friendly, at least to her standards. She removed her glasses and polished them a little bit while she whistled. Her silver necklace with the Kumo symbol, which was hidden a little under the shirt, shined in the sun.

Mugen turned the corner out from the men's bathroom, drying his hands and throwing the paper towel in a trash bin in the hallway, slipping on his gloves soon after. He kept walking with purpose, looking up at the clock. He got to school quite early today for some rehersal, sighing that he had all this time to kill and nothing to do. The black haired senior turned another corner approaching the strange new girl from behind, blinking twice, not recognizing who it was. Normally he didn't care as by this time there were so many underclassmen in this school he would never be able to recognize them all but she seemed to be around his age. He new his class, and he'd never seen her.
His walk slowed rounding her position to scan her with his eyes. She seemed odd and out of place, focusing on her appearance which was odd since she didn't even have the right uniform on. He chuckled a bit, realising he had already announced his presence didn't want to seem to rude actually adressing her instead of just laughing at her. "Don't make yourself seem so new,"he said in a friendly yet teasing manor,"You'll attract a lot of bad attention.". Sure it wasn't the nicest thing to say but Mugen wasn't the type of guy to ride up on a valliant steed, pull the fair maiden upon it and save her. If the knight were to more or less walk in, punch the dragon in the face and drag the maiden out by the wrist, perhaps he could play the knight.

"Don't make yourself seem so new," said in a male voice in a friendly yet teasing manor. "You'll attract a lot of bad attention." said the same voice, which seemed to be from the side. She saw someone who looked like a boy around her age with black hair. But it was a bit blurry, so she put the glasses back on her nose. His features were a bit more clear now: he looked a bit handsome to be honest. "Considering that I am the only one in a radius of a kilometer or two with green hair, it is not that easy" replied the female with a somewhat dry voice. Her dialect was a little more different than the others; it sounded a little more old-fashioned in some way. "If you are a senior, can you please show me where the music class is? I am kind of lost" said Marii and adjusted her backpacker before she made a small smile. This guy looked all right at first glance, so it could not be that bad. Or could it...?

Mugen grinned. She basically just asked the butcher where to buy some meat. He almost had a twinkle in his eyes as he shifted his weight toward the sound proof music rooms. "Of course I can. In fact, there isn't anyone who knows it better than me in this school probably." He flicking his fingers toward him encouraging her to follow as he took a few slow steps onward.
"So..." he commented, looking over his shoulder slightly at her, "Your tone.... it's not typical. Sounds almost like you're from Kumogakure... I've studdied some of their peices, they have that old world sound... am I mistaken?" She had really got him in a good mood. Music was Mugen's feel good button. Run into him accidentaly he'll glare at you, but compliment the art of music and he can put a smile on right away. "By the way... you can call me Mugen.

The male grinned, which made the female a little relieved; it was a nice smile. "Of course I can. In fact, there isn't anyone who knows it better than me in this school probably." said the teen and begun to walk. Marii followed him and made sure she was a few feet behind him. 'Looks like on luck is on my side today; I met someone who wants to show me around' thought the girl."So..." said the boy and looked at her across his shoulder. She raised an emerald brow with a curious look in her eyes.
"Your tone.... it's not typical. Sounds almost like you're from Kumogakure... I've studdied some of their pieces, they have that old world sound... am I mistaken?" said the raven haired boy. The greenette was surprised; this guy seemed sharp...or observant, nevertheless. "That is right. I am from Kumogakure no Sato" said the female and gave him a small smile. "By the way... you can call me Mugen" said Mugen. He seemed to be in a good mood. "Oh, OK. Nice to meet you Mugen-san" said Marii and gave him a small bow in politeness. "My name is Marii. Are you into music or something like that by any chance? You did not told me what grade you are in, but I think you're a junior or senior" said the girl and looked at him.

Mugen nodded turning another corner into the more musical wing of the school. There were practice rooms, instrument storage and other places of the sort. "Yeah I'm a senior. Really I should be a junior but I skipped first grade all the way back when." He really didn't feel like talking about his past with a total stranger. Mugen was open-minded and friendly but he had some trust issues which wasn't that hard to get past actually. A few nice words, a little sign of dedication and friendship and he could be your best friend.
"As for my involvement in music, im section leader for the tenors in the high choir and chamber choir." He paused a minute blushing only slightly trying to frown it off, "Sorry, I don't mean to sound egotistic or whatever... he said trailing off his thoughts not exactly completing themselves. He was very self concious about his words and actions, the opinions of others mattering more to him than himself. He knew it wasn't healthy but it was who he was.

"Yeah I'm a senior. Really I should be a junior but I skipped first grade all the way back when." said Mugen. "Great...we're probably in the same class then" said the female and felt a little happy; Lady Luck was on her side today. "As for my involvement in music, im section leader for the tenors in the high choir and chamber choir." said the male while he blushed a little. "Sorry, I don't mean to sound egotistic or whatever..." said the senior and sounded a little shy. "No, it's fine. I'm playing piano most of the time, but I play a little violin too. My singing voice is not all that great, it's a little to deep...if I try high tones, I sound like a teenager boy that has a cracking voice. Not pretty" said Marii and let out a chuckle.
[We can continue in music class]
