Haku Yuki Toshi
LET'S GET CRACKIN'
this is the girl/boy you love to hate. i know you're jealous, but you gotta deal and hear me out. i stand at the mighty 5 feet. wish you could be like me? didn't think so. but please, call me Haku, cause only my mom calls me Haku Yuki Toshi. you know, you better be thankful of December 21. cause that's when i was born. i know, your new, official favorite day of the year. thanks. i knew it. i'm 15 right know. i hang with the sophomores at the moment. but seriously, i don't get why people don't trip over themselves to get my autograph, cause i'm pretty, adaptable, willing to please. i mean although i weak willed, cold at times, ruthless in a fight, i'm still skilled with plants, calm, kind and helpful .
I am the Mirror: Haku is a private person. Seldom telling his soul to just anyone. It isn't likely would he tell you of his past unless you impress him very much. His heart still weeps for the love he lost when his mother breathed her last. He longed for someone to love him and care for him. He would happily do anything for a purpose.
Lifeless Angel: Haku has his downcast moments when he contemplates ending his life. He feels that life is to hard sometimes. Gone is the carefree child who played in the snow at his mothers door. In his place his, a young man not sullen but saddened. His green eyes glitter with an ice that he hoped against fate that time would turn back and he could let melt away. May be it will one never knows.
WANNA KNOW MORE?
alright, so you got me down pretty well. pretty well to the point it's borderline creepy. and now you wanna know my past!? there are some pretty murky things there. you don't wanna know. but here it goes. i'm born to Hana and Nori Toshi. they're
Haku was born on Dec. 21st, the first day of winter some fifteen years ago. His parents were so happy then they had just been married 10 months. His father had been promoted at work and life was good. Nori Toshi was a navy man by choice and much was thought of his prospects in life. Nori was traditional in his wants a nice house, dutiful wife, and now a beautiful child to top it off. Haku was an only child and loved his mother very much. He never knew his father very well as he was always away on one ship or another.
His mother was a hard working woman whose past was shameful to her. She had a power which set her apart from the rest of the world. The last of her family, all were killed in fire and war, she dreaded someone finding out her secret and condemning her for it. His mother came from a family were water was a plaything and ice a weapon. A double edge sword that made them very valued as soldiers. In her country children as young as six could be drafted into an army if they should show such talents. It was a curse she had hoped her own son would be spared. It was not to be.
Haku’s father was a very superstitious man. He believed that any one who was unnatural was evil incarnate. In his fear he was overzealous, so much so that he would refuse to hire anyone who seemed to have special powers beyond the normal ones. The man knew nothing about his wife’s abilities because she never used them.
All went well with Haku. He never knew want of any kind and he was a healthy happy child. His family was fairly well off in their little town on the outskirts of some of the bigger cities like Mist. It was a northern mountain valley, not even listed on some of the larger maps. It snowed a lot there and Haku loved to play in it after his chores were done.
Haku lived a charmed life, sure in his own way that he would always have Mother and Father. He was wrong, he would lose them both before the age of six. The horibble day was early in September.Haku had just started preschool and was so proud to have been accepted by a little group of friends.
They had been playing in free time at the little water table. Haku and the group of little boys were splashing each other and generally making a mess. evenvently got a little bored with just doing that so it was disided tag would be fun.
Thats when it happened Haku was 'it' and he was concentrating hard on catching his class mates. He ran by the water table in prosute of one of the boys and his hand brushed the water for the briefest second. Some of the water came up with his hand as he pulled it away from the table. A tread of water an inch thick trailed his fingers. He saw some thing pale blue out of the corner of his left eye and he puase in his chase to watch in wonder as the water cuaght up to him and congealed just above his left hand.
He heard a gasp from behind him. Haku spun around and was greet with the staring eyes of his new class. He was scared too, simply by the fearful looks. Haku turned and ran out the door never to turn to the village school. He ran swiftly home to his mother. He told his troubles to her and her alone. But unknown to him his teacher had called his father, who was home for a visit.
His father was not pleased to hear of his son's trick. He feared his son now and hated his wife for being so evil to produce such a child. They must be dealt with and he resolved to do just that. His beloved mother was lost to his father rage and his father to his own fear for his life. His father had come home with a heavy metal baseball bat and a gun, intent on killing his wife and child and then himself.
He partially succeeded murdered his wife.that done he raised the gun in one hand and the bat in the other to the child weeping at his dead mothers body.Haku reflexively looked up and the pipes burst from the walls. He created spikes of ice that impaled his father through the chest as he leaned over to strike. The ice covered his mother as well.
Haku stood shakely and ran from the house as fast as he could. He got as far as the small park before he curled up under a bench to sleep fitfully. Haku would not be free long how ever. By the morning the papers had reported the strange events and the missing child found and taken by child services.
He would be shuttled from home to home for five more years getting more and more hopeles with each one. They hated him and believed him a monster. Haku ran from the last one at ten years old hiding in the cities park. There he was currently staying and at fifteen is doing well for himself. He has a small paper route to pay for food and things as he doesn't want to steal unless it was absolutly need.

Haku crawled out from beheneth the Ice dome. It stayed mostly solid even in summer but was a little bit more conspicuos then so he summered as deep into the woods as he dared. As he aged he had gained more control of his abilities. His strength had increased too.
Enough so that he could make a shelter for himself using water from the lake by which he lived. Haku could now summon the water from twenty feet away from the water sourse and was working on increasing that range. He got so tired from practicing that last year he fell asleep in class and was woken up with the teacher banging on his desk.
Haku had become somewhat of a night owl during the summer months sleeping most of the day safe and cool in the ice. Coming out to roam around at night where he could enjoy the buetiy alone, recently though. he had seen some one in the park almost every night in fact.
