LET'S GET CRACKIN'
this is the girl you love to hate. i know you're jealous, but you gotta deal and hear me out. i stand at the mighty 5 feet and 4 inches. wish you could be like me? didn't think so. but please, call me Marii-chan, Kaze-chan, KK, Cloudkid, cause only my mom calls me Marii Kino Kazeraikou. you know, you better be thankful of December 17th. cause that's when i was born. i know, your new, official favorite day of the year. thanks. i knew it. i'm 18 right know. i hang with the seniors/citizens at the moment. but seriously, i don't get why people don't trip over themselves to get my autograph, cause i'm kinda nerdy, curious and funny. i mean although i strict, not too social or neat-freaky, i'm still creative, loyal and kind.
*Unique: Marii is unique in more ways than one. She is not afraid to stand out (as long as it is not too extreme), but knows how to blend in if necessary. Her interests are a little contradicting: the female has both a little childish interests like reading manga, watching anime and such but also has some ‘mature’ ones like listening, playing or making music, reading and writing.
Instead of hiding or dying her hair, she just let it be that way. Same goes with her eyes: she prefers to wear glasses except from P.E. classes and special events like birthdays, first and last day of term and others. Her cloth style is a mix of nerdy, gothy, creative and both girly and boyish at the same time and she rarely wears more make-up than her moisturizer and some mineral powder.
*Creative: This girl is quite creative. She likes playing piano and has done it for 11 years now and can also play a bit on keyboard. Marii is also quite good at drawing and painting as well as writing stories. In fact, she rarely recieved less than 80% or an B/A on her essays and both her Japanese and English teachers have said she has a ‘sharp pen’.
However, this can also be her weakest side. She is HORRIBLE in math and was examined from Kumogakure Academy with a ‘D’ in that subject. Analysis is her nightmare when it comes to Japanese and English.
*Tomboy and girly (ying and yang): It is a fact that Marii has boyish interests like watching anime like ‘Rurouni Kenshin’, ‘Death Note’ and ‘Pokemon’ instead of ‘Nana’ and other ‘girly animes’. She is also quite good with computers, likes videogames and prefers rock instead of pop.
But this girl still has some girly interests: she likes to get her nails done and would have nothing against visiting a spa or attending a slumberparty.
However, since she is seen more often playing on her Nintendo DS than wearing a skirt, many assume that she is more of a tomboy.
As for school, Marii prefers the girl uniform from her old school, which consists of a pair of black trousers and a snow white shirt with a beige camisole underneath (she dropped the sweater since it is quite warm in Konoha, even at the winter). She looks a little like a guy in the uniform, but if you look closer, you can see her feminine features.
*Cautious and vigilant: After the years of bullying, her light blue eyes and sharp ears are always on guard. She knows what people she has to look out for and potential friends. However, Marii is also vigilant when it comes to schoolwork and you will never see her fall asleep in classes or discussing manicure with the girl that sits next to her.
She never takes big risks and always weighs pros and cons before she makes a decision and relies on her gut feeling if she is in doubt. This little girl quickly notices if something is wrong with people.
*A calm soldier of justice: Marii thinks justice is quite important and is not afraid to tell (but in a calm matter) if something is wrong. She used to be a member of the school council at her previous school and the female is also a feminist. Despite that her mother made less money than her father, she was considered as the boss in the house.
If she sees a small kid get bullied, she is not afraid to tell them to stop despite her rather small size. But the girl rarely yells or lose her temper unless it is really bad: she knows that yelling will not get her anywhere longer and being calm just shows that you can handle a situation well.

alright, so you got me down pretty well. pretty well to the point it's borderline creepy. and now you wanna know my past!? there are some pretty murky things there. you don't wanna know. but here it goes. i'm born to Masao Kazeraikou and Hikari Kino. they're at the age of 46 (mom), 45 (dad). they work as elementary school teacher (mom), assistant executive in a company (dad). but they're pretty nice. though no matter what i'll always be okay with them. i'm an oldest sibling.. secretly, i wanna be get a good job. but if you wanna know more, check it out;
History:
Marii was borned in Kumogakure no Sato during a cold winter afternoon. Her parents were Masao Kazeraikou from Kumogakure and Hikari Kino from Amegakure. The baby was their first child, and both of the parents were excited. The girl was a rather calm baby, but she was quite curious as a toddler. She kept asking her parents stuff like: what is this? What is that? It was a wonder that the two parents did not became mad!
When Marii became 3, she entered the kindergarten. She was not as social as the other kids and preferred to have her own space now and then. But the female did not minded to play with other kids if she was bored and had nothing else to do.
At age 5, she begun at Kumogakure Elementary school, which would be the start of her 13 years of obligatory school. That is right; the schools in Kaminari has an extra year at elementary, and has 13 years of school instead of 12. Marii was quite good at school, especially when it came to reading, music, writing and drawing.
The students had to choose an instrument to play in 2nd grade, so the female picked the piano. However, students bullied her from time to time for various reasons: one was her looks (with glasses, green hair and a short stature she stuck out quite a bit) and the fact that the female did well in most subject except math, P.E. and science.
After she finished 7th grade, Marii begun at the junior high school, which went a lot better; she made new friends here and she was not bullied as much as in elementary school.
She graduated in 10th grade and begun at Kumogakure Senior High School, which was a little worse: the students in her class teased her for her interests, and she had enough.
The 15 1/2 year old girl signed up for TKD almost right after she begun and was determined to let them pay one day. She also had to choose an additional instrument and chosed the violin. Luckily, she was not bullied as much in her second year. In her last year, Marii represented her class in the student council. At graduation, the bullies got their payback: they got quite low scores while hers were quite good (72%).
She wanted to start at Konoha College right away, but discovered that she had to retake many subjects since their school system was different. But the little girl did not give up and decided to sign up for an exchange student program. Marii arrived Konoha with a mix of curiousity and anxiety in her stomach: how would it be to live here?

The wind fluttered trough the emerald locks and some rain drops hit the spectacles. 'Bleh, this is annoying' thought the female and removed the glasses from her face. She had just arrived Konoha, and it was RAINING.
'I thought mum said the weather would be nice...oh well' thought Marii and looked around. Despite the rain, it was less chilly than in Kumo and the vegetation was more dense. Perhaps her mother was right anyway.
She went to the luggage band with the other passengers, and wondered how her first day of school would be...
