Her golden brown eyes stared expressionlessly up at the ceiling high above her head, her mouth was a straight line and her body felt relaxed. It felt nice to have the warm water slosh around her feet, Kitai let out a small sigh, one that held distant annoyance within them. She was hiding out at the School Pool on the third floor, school had basically finished and there was hardly anyone left in the building of education. After school hours, the janitor was supposed to lock the doors to the Pool, however, it clearly seemed today he forgot and it was a stroke of luck for Kitai, that she found it like this. She felt annoyed as hell and she stubbornly refused to go back to her house tonight. The reason? Her brother and sister where there, visiting her mother. She hated her siblings and was grateful when she didn’t have to live with them anymore. Seeing them again would only spark off a fight and nobody wanted that. However, even though she was sat in the peaceful setting of the pool, the light of the setting sun filtering through the large windows, she couldn’t help feeling a bit lonesome. With a sigh, she fished her black and blue phone out of her shoes, which were perched on the tiles beside her. Her fingers clicked rapidly on the buttons as she started texting.

“I hope you haven’t left school yet,
I have a surprise for you at the Pool. <3
xxxxx”

She grinned slightly to herself as she pressed ‘send’ and watched the little envelope on the screen fly away, saying it was sent to ‘Gobi’. Obviously, she didn’t have a surprise waiting for her friend, but saying that kind of thing just teased the boy into thinking he was getting something kinky. Like she would be waiting in her underwear or something. The blonde blushed, ever so slightly, when she thought of this, since it was her big dark secret that she was head over heels for the dark haired boy. Kitai sighed slightly, not in annoyance, but in thought as she pictured her best friend in her mind. She placed her phone back in her shoe and looked back at the ceiling. The water reflected onto the roof above, making wavy patterns on the surface, Kitai felt mesmerised for a moment, simply staring at it as the setting sunlight made the room glow orange, since the rooms lights were off, she didn’t want anybody to know she was there.

Tap tap tap tap...

The gentle echoes of shoes hitting the tiled flooring trailed throughout the empty halls of Konoha. Most people were gone by now, but a few odd students were scattered through the building here and there. Yukiho Nekura were among those odd students, finding no true reason to return home yet. His sister was staying the night at a friends, which meant he would just be alone anyway.

His right hand rested upon the hilt of his katana, tapping to the music that floated within his mind. It was rare for Yukiho to not have a song stuck in his head, and today was no exception. No expression laced his face, but behind those eyes of his was irritation from an earlier encounter. Madara and some foolish neko girl, he was certain she enjoyed their presence and probably wanted more than she let on. But the irritation wasn't only his, which in fact made it more deadly. So he had to keep himself in check and leave.

His mind continually drifted as he walked with no true destination. The male desired something, anything to happen. By making such a wish, it in fact did. His phone began to quickly vibrate, making him stop in his tracks and flip it open.

“I hope you haven’t left school yet,
I have a surprise for you at the Pool. <3

Irritation was replaced by a flickering amusement, coal eyes lighting up along with the grin that flashed onto Yukiho's features. Swiftly, he would text his friend back. This sounded quite interesting...

"Oh? Well don't move, love.
I am most definitely on my way. ;]

Flipping his phone shut quickly, Yukiho's strides grew longer and quicker as he made his way towards the Pool area. Anticipation grew within him, imagining the girl in a bikini. Truth be told, he did have quite a bit of attraction towards Nibi. More than he would admit, for certain. She was supposed to be like a second sister anyway, just a little more flirtier and such.

Coming to the doors which lead into the Pool, Yukiho paused and shrugged off his jacket to reveal a simple black wife beater that seemed to show off all his nice muscles that were concealed below the clothing. Smirking to himself, he'd run a hand through his hair and shove open the doors. As soon as he entered, his eyes would glance around for his object of interest. Where oh where... oh! There she was.

He paused for a mere moment, looking at her. She looked quite gorgeous with that sunlight basking upon her. Cheeks would slightly burn at such a thought, and he coughed to himself. Regaining his composure, Yukiho approached Nibi. "Hello there, Nibi-chan," he greeted, offering a wave.

Looking her over, and then around her, his eyebrows furrowed. "Where's that surprise?" he'd ask, winking at the female.

Droplets of water flew delicately into the air, the sun catching off the liquid causing it to shimmer in the light as Kitai kicked the surface of the water. Still lonely, she was occupying her time by messing around with the water, watching the raindrops fly through the air. The only source of light was the natural source coming through the windows and she knew it was going to be dark soon, making the room all the more shadowy. However, she didn’t mind, she preferred the darkness to the blinding light of the sun, she felt more relaxed within it, obviously this trait came from the large two-tailed cat god. Plus, stumbling around in the dark, at the pool, would be quite interesting.

The sudden melody of her phone caused her to jump ever so slightly, her amber eyes flickered to her petite phone and she quickly flicked it over, scanning the contents of the message. A graceful smile slipped onto her lips, he was coming to see her and she suddenly didn’t feel so lonely anymore, just at the thought of the dark haired boy coming to see her. Just like he said in his text, she didn’t move and she waited patiently for him, she wasn’t always this patient if it involved someone else, but Gobi wasn’t ‘someone else’.

As soon as the boy entered though the doors, her head turned, looking for the tall-dark boy who sometimes graced her dreams. Her amber eyes caught sight of him, wearing that black wife-beater of his. Kitai swore he wore that bit of fabric just to tease her, secretly, she hungrily eyed the muscular boy up. It was so unfair, now she wanted to tease him too for arriving in that outfit he knew made the girls stare. “Hey, Gobi-Kun. Took you long enough, you sure must walk slow.” She teased, pulling herself up to her feet, standing before the boy and looking up at him with amber eyes. A small laugh escaped her lips as he asked about the surprise, she had briefly forgotten about that and a thought flashed through her head.

“Oh.. Yes, the surprise.” She said as if she had completely forgotten about it for a moment. She made herself look slightly embarrassed by looking at the floor then looking back at him for a brief second. “Well, if you come closer I’ll give it to you~” She smiled slightly, looking up at him and edging slightly closer to him and running a finger lightly down his arm. Secretly, her heart gave a little tug and though this was all just to tease the boy, at the bottom of her heart, it was real.

"I was taking my time, dear," Yukiho admitted, smirking. As their eyes met, his coal ones to her bright amber ones, a spark seemed to be lit. Winking sly at Nibi, he would then look behind her at the pool. It seemed recently cleaned and very appealing for some reason. He was brought back to Earth by her voice and words, which sparked an idea in his mind.

"This best be a good surprise," he grinned, tossing his jacket to the floor ever so casually and then approaching the female. Closer... and closer he got, not taking his eyes off of her's. They were a beautiful color, that was most certain. Blue eyes could not compare to the grace of her amber ones. Chuckling to himself softly at such a thought, he suddenly brought a hand to her face and tipped her chin up.

"Actually.. I have the surprise for you," Yukiho whispered to Nibi, getting extremely close when suddenly a mischievous grin appeared on his face, and his eyes flashed with playfulness. "SURPRISE!!!" he'd shout, shoving her back into the pool. As she would fall in, a loud laughter would follow the splash.

Yukiho had tears of amusement in his eyes as he fell back onto him bum and watched Nibi get completely and utterly soaked. He was like a little kid when with Nibi or his actual little sister, that much was certain. He lost the typical charming attitude, replaced with utter childishness. Deciding it wasn't all completely fair, he pulled off his wife beater to reveal his muscular torso, and threw off his shoes and socks.

Rushing into the pool, jumping up in the air to dive in, he managed to land right behind Nibi. Smirking, he'd come up and attempt to gently grab her shoulders. "Boo," he whispered into her ear before laughing a bit more and releasing her. "How was that for a surprise?" Yukiho teased, winking at her while he floated around the pool.

Her amber eyes watched the material of his jacket flutter to the tiled ground below. When she glanced back up at him, she did not expect to have his coal eyes gazing into hers. The suddenness of it almost made her gasp lightly, but she kept it in, concentrating on the boy before her. As soon as Gobi slipped up close to her she suddenly regretted saying about a surprise, mostly because she felt comfortable at how close the dark-haired boy was. She didn’t want to feel comfortable to his affection, though most of her longed for it too much, she simply didn’t want to be disappointed if he rejected her. They were best friends after all and the possibility Gobi wanted to keep it that way could be too great for Kitai to handle. With the feelings of regret and attraction floating through her head, she barely registered what was going to happen next, she was too busy staring into Gobi’s mesmerising gaze.

“AAAAHHHH!” She yelped as she found herself shooting towards the water, her feet no longer safely on the tiles where she was less than likely to fall in. In a split second, the water engulfed her and she quickly squeezed her eyes closed as the warm water closed in on her. Still slightly dazed, she stayed underwater for a few moments until she awoke from her senses, pulling herself up so she could resurface. “Oh.. You are so in for it!” She yelled at the boy, a joking tone mixed with her annoyance. She jumped slightly as she felt Gobi up beside her, leaning over her back to be honest. She hadn’t even noticed him come in the water after her, obviously he saved himself the trouble of being dragged in.

“Good surprise but I’m seriously dreading the wet dog smell after you get out. Ugh.” She said playfully as she floated in the water, she pinched her nose to mess with him a little more. “You seriously need to wash more.” She smirked before pushing her hands against the water, causing a wave to fly towards Gobi. Her blonde hair, turned darker from the water, stuck to her face slightly and her amber eyes glittered in playfulness, even if she didn’t know her fate with Gobi, she knew that without him, she would probably be lost.

"Awww, is the hissy kitten upset?" Yukiho teased, winking at Nibi playfully. He couldn't help but find this all so amusing, but perhaps it was because he had such a long and boring day. He could at least finish it off good. This way was also definitely the best option, since it was her after all. He generally always had a good time with Nibi no matter what the circumstance. Even when they tried taking over The Bijuu and pretty much hated each other he had a blast, and that was what brought them closer like this.

Letting out a loud laugh as she mentioned the "wet dog" smell, he rolled his eyes. "I think I smell quite good actually. I wash more than most men at this dreaded school!" he proclaimed, smirking as she sent a splash his way. Dunking into the water, he swam towards her. When coming back up, right in front of her face, Yukiho would spit out a bunch of water towards her. "I think I should be more worried about the dear little kitten clawing me," he chuckled.

His smirk turned into a goofy-looking smile, as a thought popped into his mind suddenly. "Hey, do you want to come over and hang out? My sister is gone for the night and I'll probably end up really bored," he offered his friend, no hidden intentions lying behind his words. It was really easy to tell if you were one of his few friends when he had an ulterior motive. It was rare he even did lately, especially around Nibi.

"We could even go out to eat before that, if you wanted," Yukiho added as an afterthought, grinning. That's when it hit him, it was almost like him asking her on a date... No no.. he couldn't think of it like that.

Kitai let out a playful, yet rather life-like hiss at Gobi’s comment, her amber eyes twinkled in her playful mood. “Not as upset as you will be once I’m through with you~” She said with a smile on her features, treading water so that she stayed in the same spot, instead of sinking to the bottom of the pool. She didn’t tend to swim much, the inner cat within her seemed to want to scream at her to get out of the water and get dry, as soon as possible. But the human side of her wanted to stay in the warmth, plus, Gobi was here, that was more than enough reason to stay in the pool. She let out a joking laugh as she heard Gobi say he smelt good, though that was true, she couldn’t help but wind the boy up just a little bit more. “Still, you may smell better than the kids that hang around the dumpsters. But you smell even worse after you get out of the water. I’ll have to make sure to dry you off properly before I go anywhere near you.” She said calmly, winking slyly at the boy for a brief moment.

Amber eyes followed the shape of Gobi as he swam under the water, she hoped he didn’t have his eyes open, since her pale school uniform was bound to be completely see through by now. She decided she would be stealing his jacket once they got out, to cover up her white shirt. She let out a small squeak of alarm as the water was squirted into her face and she playfully batted at his chest with her hands. “You’re damn right you cheeky dog.” She said, trying to sound menacing, though it failed through the laughter which was escaping her lips. Copying his move, she squirted some of the warm water at the boy, hoping it hit him square in the face.

The faint orange glow of the sunset was still pouring through the window, however, it grew slightly more darker, the night threatening to fill the room with shadows. Kitai blinked once he asked her to come over him house and a small, yet warm smile, slipped onto her lips. “That’s a good idea! I was going to ask you if I could come to yours later. Do you mind if I stay the night as well? My brother and sister are staying the night so there’s no way I’m going home until they’ve gone.” She said with enthusiasm, she had told Gobi all about how she hated her siblings, so she felt glad he offered her to come over, otherwise she would have ended up crashing god-knows where. After a few moments, Kitai started swimming around behind him, before draping her arms around his neck. With a slight smile she tried to climb onto the boys back, in an attempt to make him either fall over, or carry her. “Now, I think it’s only fair you give me a piggy-back home, since my top is see-through, I don’t want your ‘virgin’ eyes to be destroyed.”

A deep chuckle would leave Yukiho at Nibi's threat. "I'm sorry, kitten," he apologized playfully. If she'd been anyone else, he would've taunted her with words of superiority, but she wasn't anyone else. She was a fellow Bijuu, and his former partner in crime. She was one of the few that he actually respected, which could be considered an honor seeing as the only other person he respected was no longer amongst the living. His father. "I believe my scent is alluring to the female populace. Otherwise how would I be able to wrap most of them around my finger?" Yukiho smirked, not able to contain his ego, "You could dry me off anytime though."

Letting out a barking laughter as she swatted at his bare chest, Yukiho grabbed her hand and planted a kiss on the back of it. "Come now, you couldn't hurt little ol' me," he winked, watching her dunk beneath the water and gather water in her mouth. The squirt hit him right in the cheek, and a grin captured his face. He was just too damn nice to dodge apparently.

At her response, Yukiho grew ecstatic. He'd been wanting to hang out alone with Nibi for quite some time to be honest, though he wasn't too sure why. "Of course you could stay the night, it's only me and my sis anyway. I'll take the couch and you can steal my room," he offered, nodding. He had told her about his parents being killed, but never said how or why. In fact, no one but himself knew why even now. He certainly had almost slipped up when explaining this to her though, but knew it wasn't the time. One day however... it was very likely she'd find out that he killed his own parents.

As she swam behind him and latched herself onto his back, Yukiho used his arms to wrap around her legs so he could carry her. "Trust me, my eyes are less virgin than your's could ever hope to be," he grinned, tempted to take a look. But she WAS like his sister... so that wouldn't be right. Not to mention she wasn't just any female, she was Nibi. Slowly trotting through the water, he quickly reached the shallow and carried her easily towards where his jacket was. Setting her down, he'd grab his jacket and throw it towards her.

"Cover up," Yukiho smirked, laughing to himself as he headed towards the exit. Tonight would be interesting.
