The students had begun to line up in a queue in front of his desk, and the voices were summing. He could hear that they discussed what instrument they were going to choose and who their partners would be. 'I wonder who the pairs will be this year' thought Iruka and remembered last year. Last year, a senior and a junior had paired up and wrote a song about their average school day, and performed with with a guitar and a keyboard. They had got an A on it, and sadly, there were people who had done a lot worse. "All right, what instrument do you want to choose and why?" asked the male when the first student came up. It was a junior with raven hair and hazel eyes.
"I want to play aucustic guitar. I already know the basics, so I want to improve my skills" said the boy. "OK...any partner or partners?" asked the teacher. "Yes. My partner is Hiromasa Yamamori. He is going for flute" said the student. "Good. The instruments are over there" said the adult and ruled out one aucustic guitar and a flute from the list.

Kabuto turned his head a little bit and looked straight into her eyes. Small shivers ran down her spine; it felt like his sapphire blue eyes could look straight trough her. "You're reading my mind Marii-chan. My answer is yes" chuckled the male and looked back at the list. She felt reliefed; it was good to hear that he wanted to be on her group. "I was thinking about picking flute or ocarina. How about you? Piano?" asked the silver-haired young man. "Yes, I suppose I will...if there are any left that is" said the greenette and rolled her eyes a little. The male stood up. "I'm going to line up. You're coming?" said the senior. She nodded, a small grin on her face and lined up right behind her friend.

"Yes, I suppose I will...if there are any left that is" said the female before she stood up and lined up right behind him. Kabuto made a small smirk and stepped forwards after two girls had signed up for saxophone and violin. It would not be long before it was his and Marii's turn. He discovered some smudge on his lense; it was probably from the pottery class they had earlier today. The male let out a sigh before he removed his glasses and polished them on a small cloth he had in his chestpocket. Everything that was too far away became blurry, so he turned for a second and looked at the girl. Since she was right behind, the senior could see her clearly. He gave her a small, weird smile before he put his glasses back on his face. Everything became clear again, and he liked it this way.

Iruka crossed off the violin and saxophone; about half of the instruments were taken by now. But a little less than half of the class remained, so that made it go up. He looked up and saw that the next person was a senior male with silver hair. Kabuto to be more precise. "All right, what instrument do you want to play and why? Any partners or are you playing solo?" asked the adult with a small smile on his face. He had been Kabuto's English teacher last year, so he knew him a little from before. His eyes widened a tad bit when he saw the foreigner behind him. The teacher could not help it; he associated items, pictures, videos or even people from Kumo with his parents death. He blinked and looked down for a second before he looked up again, ready to hear what the young man wanted as instrument.

Both girls had now chosen their instrument, which was a violin and an ocarina. It was their turn now, and the female could not help feeling a little excited. She saw Iruka look up at her before he looked down for a few seconds. He looked sad, and Marii wondered why. But after a few seconds, he became his happy self. "All right, what instrument do you want to play and why? Any partners or are you playing solo?" asked the teacher and looked at Kabuto. When he had talked, she would speak up. "Uhm, I want to play on the piano, if possible. If not, I want to take the keyboard or a violin sensei" said the girl and leaned a little so her friends frame did not hid her.

"If possible, I want to sign up for an ocarina sensei" said the male with the neutral, polite voice he used with teachers and friends. He pushed his glasses a little further up his nose and looked at the instruments that stood there. "Uhm, I want to play on the piano, if possible. If not, I want to take the keyboard or a violin sensei" said Marii before she leaned a little to the side. "Looks like I am blocking for you Marii-san" said the young man and made a small smile. Sure, he was not really tall himself, but she was tiny.

"If possible, I want to sign up for an ocarina sensei" said Kabuto. His voice was neutral and polite as per usual when he spoke to teachers. "Yes, ocarina should be fine Yakushi-kun. They are laying on the table over there" said the male and wrote the instruments name next to 'Yakushi, Kabuto' on the class list. "Uhm, I want to play on the piano, if possible. If not, I want to take the keyboard or a violin sensei" said Marii, who peeked over the young mans arms. The teacher made a small smile; looked like the silver-haired young man blocked her small frame. "Hm...nobody has actually signed up for piano yet. I will sign you up for piano Kazeraikou-san" said the adult and wrote 'piano' next to 'Kazeraikou, Marii Kino'. When the other students had taken their instruments, he would give them some time to do the music homework. The students had been quite well behaved today, so they had earned it.
