The blonde wrapped the dark jacket around her body, pulling it closer to steal the warmth from the soft material. She was still shivering slightly as she walked, of course, it was night now and there was no sunlight to dry her clothes, which were wet from the pool. Kitai’s hair had basically dried now and Gobi had gone to retrieve some food for them both, she had sorted out the golden locks so they weren’t so frizzy, by using her slender fingers and looking in the reflection of a shop window. Now, they were walking down towards Gobi’s apartment, which he shared with his sister, however, she felt a rather nervous feeling in her stomach stir. It was stupid really, she had been to Gobi’s house hundreds of times, it was like her second home, however, not once had they been alone together while she was there. All the other times, Gobi’s little sister had been there and the three of them had pleasant memories of those simple days. Instead, this felt different, her and Gobi would be alone for the whole night, together, alone, the two of them. Kitai couldn’t help but feel nervous and for some reason, dead excited about it.

She glanced up at Gobi for a moment, a fleeting moment, hoping he didn’t catch her gazing up into those amazing dark eyes of his. As quickly as she looked, she turned her attention to the path in front of her, small shivers attacked her body every few moments. She was a little annoyed that she couldn’t go home at least to change, while her brother and sister were still at her house, she refused to come within Twenty feet of the house. She had reluctantly decided to steal some of Gobi’s clothes for tonight and hope her school uniform didn’t smell damp and of chlorine in the morning. They soon came across Gobi’s apartment building, it was in the Konoha Heights, though it wasn’t the grandest place in Konohagakure, it was like home to her. A soft smile slipped onto her features as she made her way to the door and stood in front of it, waiting for Gobi to unlock the door so they could go inside. “Come on, I know you were slow but this has to be a joke.” She teased lightly, pulling the jacket closer to her body. “Do you want me to be an icicle by the time you open the door?”

Kitai watched while Gobi dug around in his pockets for the keys that would unlock the front door, she shivered slightly, clutching at herself to try and create some warmth. She let out a soft chuckle as he spoke and she shoved her shoulder into to him, trying to knock him off balance. “Hah, yeah right. We both know if you did that you’re ass would be getting a serious beating.” She smiled and leaned her weight on him slightly, taking advantage of the warmth he was admitting. She closed her amber eyes for a moment, secretly taking in the boys scent, she didn’t know why but she was met with an amazing scent she couldn’t put her finger on. Suddenly, everything was gone and her eyes shot open, she stumbled slightly, since her weight was on Gobi but she caught herself pretty fast. The blonde girl quickly followed after him, kicking off her shoes as she came in through the door, before closing it behind her. The sudden warmth consumed her in a matter of moments and she let out a quiet sigh of comfort. When she was within these walls, with Gobi, it seemed like she had nothing to be afraid of, like she was completely safe from everything and everyone. In fact, she felt more at home here, than at her mothers house.

Her eyes scanned the room and she nodded as Gobi told her he was going to get her some clothes, her amber eyes followed the tall man as he exited the room. Even though warmth was covering her body now, she still clutched onto his jacket, why, she wasn’t positive but she liked the way it smelt and how warm it was. For a moment, her thoughts flickered back to the swimming pool, though she didn’t ponder over it then, she couldn’t help but remember how every moment in there, seemed to be covered with secret feelings. She gazed down at the floor as she thought about her feelings towards her friend, she didn’t want to admit it but she was feeling something more than friendship. Kitai felt her cheeks turn a rosy pink and tried to calm her thoughts down, just the mere thought of Gobi and her being intimate was making her cheeks blush. She scolded herself for being so stupid, Gobi couldn’t like her in that way, he was way out of her league.

Her eyes snapped back up to Gobi as he entered the room and she pushed her thoughts out of her mind. She scoffed lightly at his words and took the small bundle of clothes from him, a smile on her face which she couldn’t help. “Of course, what do you take me for? I’m not stupid.” She replied, brushing past the dark haired boy as she went. She quickly made her way to the bathroom and locked the door behind her, slowly, she stripped out of her school uniform, which was more cold than wet now. However, she hung it on the radiator, so that it would dry quicker. She shivered slightly as the fabric of Gobi’s top brushed against her skin and she quickly slipped the shorts on. They were pretty big on her, overall, the top basically reached just above her knees, the bottom of her tattoo was visible, the shorts were covered and it looked like she was wearing a dress, also, the neck kept falling off her shoulders. Shrugging, she opened the door and walked confidently out into the living room and smiled at Gobi, giving a quick twirl. “So, what do you think?”
